Im a teen and i live in Connecticut. In a month I'm moving to Poland. My guy best friend knows this is a possibility but I haven't told him the final decision yet. I've known him for two years (6th and 7th grade). It want until this year (7th grade) that we stopped being mean and hating each other and actually became friends.We have amazing chemistry and instantly became best friends. He was and still is my first love. I have liked him on and off since the day i met him. In 6th grade I only pretended to hate him so he wouldn't know. Well when 7th grade started, we realized have so much in common and spent hours talking to each other. In March I found out that he likes me. I found out from my best friend who is also close to him. He didn't tell me himself until a month later. I thought he couldn't possibly like me as much as I liked him. Only recently I found out he was saying he would die for me and was claiming to be in love. Well middle school being middle school, people found out and we were constantly teased by cruel comments. He tried asking me out three times but i said no because i was afraid what people would say, me being the popular girl and him being a nerdy boy with a few friends. Also I didn't want my mom to know. In the beginning of June I was ready to say yes to him when he told me he liked two other girls. I was heart broken and I stopped trying. On the last day of school he told me he had never felt this way about a girl before and he had made up those two girls because he didn't want to seem desperate. I told him I liked him but with him going away to baseball camp for most of the summer we knew we couldn't start going out then. He started to cry saying what an idiot he was for not telling me sooner. It was the second time he cried over me (the first was when I got really mad for him breaking my trust and he was begging for forgiveness). Well I still like him and he still likes me. I think I love him because it feels like I do but I'm not sure. I've seen him a few times through out the summer and I'm probably going to only see him one more time before I move. I'm going to have to say good bye. I want to tell him how much he means to me, and even through I have many great friends, he will be the only one i will cry about never seeing again.
